Napkin ring

You are correct that they are not Austrian. My mistake. I originally thought they would be Austrian but I later found out that they are Czeck and I didn't remember to correct it here. Sorry for that. Your estimate was better than my original one and close. Your estimate of the age sounds accurate. A...

Commercial Committee

Hi! I have found out that there was the company's 15th Meeting of the Commercial Committee on the 7th October 1938 so as it is the same date there might be a connection. Possibly it has been a gift to a person or an other company during the meeting. However I have not been able to find the minutes o...

Not Finnish

Hi! The box is not Finnish but either Norweigian or Danish. The silver mark is 830S, in Finland there is a different marking. It is common in Finland that there are silver from other Scandinavian countries as there are close relations and lots of traveling between these countries. http://www.925-100...

One more small mark

I found one more mark, a very small one. It is too small to take a picture of it so I drew it. The mark looks like this: http://sv1.letmehost.com/img.php?file=sv1/20/Napkin_ring_mark2.JPG" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; According to the mark I found from these pages that the napkin ri...

Napkin ring, unknown marks

Hi, I have a set of napkin rings which I assume would be from some middle European country. The mark is an 800 (looks like 300?) and GOBEL. The napkin ring in picture has the best looking marks (with unclear G in the beginning and L in the end which letters I can see in some of the others). http://s...

Maybe a gift to a person or to an other company for cooperation? There are no other marks on the tankard than the...
