Saw your post on the Mexican silver board. It does not look like a Mexican silver mark to me either. Might be Navajo Indian artist Russell Sam.

I have seen the ECK mark next to David Anderson's c1888-1925 mark. Sorry, don't know who ECK is, probably a designer.

In 1898 Gorham added a letter prefix to the numbering system. The A was used on sterling holloware related to dining. They used the A prefix until about 1930. During this time period they also used date codes (a list is on this site). If you find the date code mark it will indicate the year your ite...

I've seen C. Zurita pieces marked Mexico D.F. ( Mexico City) and Taxco. Between about 1948 and 1980 Mexico used the Eagle mark system. C. Zurita was registered with the #1 Eagle mark (along with a lot of other silver manufacturers). Since your piece does not have an Eagle mark it probably dates to b...

The crossed keys symbol is very similar to ones used in Germany during the 17th century. These marks represented the towns of Liegnitz and Regensburg. Also in the 17th century the Russian town of Riga used a similar crossed keys mark. Can't help you on the mark to the right, maybe the maker's mark. ...

I think your picture has the marks upside down. That might be one of the silverplate marks used by Martin Hall & Company, Sheffield, England (1854-1897). The letters in the shield probably are MH & Co. The first four marks are really hard to read, my guess is EPNS. http://img213.imageshack.u...

In your first picture the mark just left of 925 is the London import mark used from 1906 on. The BM mark probably is importer Berthold Mueller.

Ellis-Barker Silver Companies, Birmingham, England (in Europe they are known as Barker-Eliis). Founded in 1820. They opened an American branch in New York in 1897. They used a lot of marks. Your mark according to Rainwater's was used since 1912 on sterling and silverplate. http://img248.imageshack.u...

Around 1980 Mexico changed from its Eagle silver mark to a letter and number system. The T in TV-02 stands for the city Taxco. The V is the first letter of the maker's first or last name (sorry, don't know who that is). 02 means the second individual or company who registered the TV mark.
