On silverplate, the crown does not mean it was made in Sheffield. Actually, the use of a crown on British silverplate was banned around 1897. So your Basket dates to before 1898.
I think that's a silverplate mark used by Liberty & Company of London. Manufactured for Liberty by W.H. Haseler from c.1900. Others might disagree with me on this.
