Help ID stamps on back of large tray!

I have a large silver plated tray with stamps on the back. At first I thought it was British, but the shape and orientation of the hallmarks didn't match the guides. Also, there is no letter stamp. Would you happen to know why "6242" was etched on the back of the bowl of the spoon? Also, are you familiar with the crown located on the handle? What does it represent? Thank you in advance!
