Sorry if this is even more disappointing but they were made in London in 1990. Don't know who the maker is as I don't have a reference book for modern makers. Best wishes, Mike.

Looking at the pic of the mark, it does not appear to be 'B' alone..seems like there was another letter in front of it which may have been worn.. Impossible to date from the pic you have shown. Could you possibly post a full size pic of all the marks...possibly with flash and well lit without flash ...

The first pic would appear to be Sheffield 1904 and I have no idea who the maker is. The second is unfortunately indecypherable. I cannot read the marks due to the shine. Sorry not to be more helpful, Best wishes, Mike.

The makers are Hukin and Heath...working with great craftsmanship around the end of the 19th and beginning of 20th century. Arts and crafts items they have made are very sought after. Please send me a photo of them and will attempt to appraise them further. Best wishes, Mike.

The bottom mark looks almost certainly like the Chester town mark but very rubbed. The style of the watch is late 19th to early 20th century so it would appear to have been made in Chester in 1892. Will not be earlier. The crown is not the Sheffield mark as some assume but is usually found on gold w...

I have come across these over the years with just the two marks and they have usually been from the last quarter of the 18th century into the first quarter of the nineteenth which would give credence to the head of George the third.BUT! I have never seen one with a rampant lion! so the forum is open...

Looks more like something that would have been made by James Dixon and Sons and is designed after the Arts and Crafts era...in the Arts and Crafts style. Would have been either a coffee pot or hot water jug...the middle classes would have had plated wares such as this with both a coffee pot and hot ...

Could you possibly get a better photo of the left hand set of marks. Perhaps try using your flash as it can sometimes work better on close ups. Best wishes, Mike.

Not a maker I have come across but could be a provincial Scottish maker as your mark is Scottish but not necessarily Edinburgh. The Edinburgh town mark is absent. Best wishes, Mike.

Triangle in oval is import mark for Birminhgam 1904-32 so the date letter 'D' is for 1928-9. 925 is for sterling silver. Sorry but don't know the maker. Best wishes, Mike.
