Hennegan & Bates

Does anyone know what happened to Hennegan & Bates after 1930? Were they absorbed by another Baltimore SilverSmith company? Thanks!

GHF hallmark

Does anyone know anything about a "GHF" hallmark? I have a pie server with a repousse handle that looks just like Stieff Rose but the hallmark says "GHF". Does anyone know anything about this company and what these letters stand for? Thanks for your help!

Buttercup is a very popular pattern...it was easy.

This website can help you with dating Gorham. To me it looks like it matches the hallmarks from the last quarter of the 1900's.

Can't identify hallmark

I hope someone can help me. I can't identify this hall mark. It says "sterling" and then 925, and "R" with a box around it and then what I think is a lion. I have searched everywhere and I can't find it. Thanks!
