Baby cup
Is a baby cup stamped Aurora Warranted, Est 1869, No 412, a silver plate item or a sterling one?
How can I test for sterling or plate. Is there a chemical or mechanical inspection that I can do? Norfish

brush
this was either a clothes or a hat brush. People didn't wash their clothes after each wearing, but did have a maid brush and air them. Norfish

SSMC fork
probably a pickle, relish, picalilly, chow chow fork. One of those sour, salty preserved vegetable dishes. Norfish

Guess the dish game
I suspect this may be a seafood server dish - ice being placed beneath the reticulated plate. Whatever it is, it's wonderful. Norfish

baker manchester poppy fork
I suspect this may be a chipped beef serving fork. It is a little too large and the tines are too curvey to be a ramekin fork. And yes it is gorgeous. Norfish
