Re: German or Belgian fork (180ç-19) ?

Dear Anikopol, I've been describing the books of Struyck and Dievoet The images are indeed embarrassed, but they have something to learn about. These are Belgian Hallmarks from 1809 - 1814 See accompanying pictures https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg It is d...

Bahner,

Bahner his response was correct, hence my action to polish the makers mark
Should not have underestimated this, and therefore, rightly so.
Thanks Bahner for your comment.

Re: Theodor Heiden II

Hi Krisztián, Great that you recognize it right away. I have seen this model cups more often in books or the internet, but if you need it, the ready-made knowledge suddenly disappears. It is indeed a copy of historism. Theodor Heiden has made good use of this This footed beaker (7cmx3.5x3) has no fl...

Re: Theodor Heiden II

Hello, this certainly looks like one of the marks used by the Heiden workshop. The mark with the TH and the figure of the "Muenchner KIndl" is incompletely struck, but I am not aware of another Munich gold- and silversmith of that period with those or similiar initials. Regards, Bahner He...

Theodor Heiden II

What was it for?

I would like to know, if it is, what I think it is.
I'm not completely sure about it.

Re: Big French Soup spoon with makers mark L.Bouffet

Hi JayT,

It's a time capsule
It is amazing that all this information from old books is now exactly in place.
The approval marks were far too small as you normally expect.
Therefore, I highly appreciate your response and confirmation.

Re: Big French Soup spoon with makers mark L.Bouffet

Hi,

Looking at the Makers Mark, this says in my opinion something about the silversmith.
In this case, I think they are specialized in producing / manufacturing spoons.
I hope this will help further in the research.
