Weyzager for comparison? Goldstein Hi Goldstein! I think It is possible that Weyzager worked before 1882, but m...

Re: Opinion before possible purchase

"Hertzbecher" is a traditional German product. Many German workshops produced them in 19-20 centuries and produce now. For example Neresheimer from Hanau: http://neresheimer-silber.de/ I believe the beaker under discussion has German origin but it has the bottom from the old Russian beaker...

Re: Hallmark Request from mid 18th Century

Moscow, the maker is Grigoriy Lakomkin (Григорий Лакомкин - ГЛ), the assayer is or Afanasiy Rybakov (Афанасий Рыбаков - AR) or Anisim Kuzmin (Анисим Кузьмин - АК).

Re: Maker's mark request for these vodka cups

Ivan Ratkov worked in the late 19th century. Hallmark on the cups of sample 1908-17. I guess the Maker of these cups is Ivan Rubtsov, who worked in the early 20th century and produced cups.

Re: Ice tongs 1887 - who made them?

Hello! The assayer НК is not Nikolay Korbitsky. It is a mistake in the catalog of Postnikova-Loseva. He is Nikolay Vasilyevich Kulakov (Николай Васильевич Кулаков) - the assistant manager of Moscow assay office. See my pictures and see the topic http://www.925-1000.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t...

It's really Barcelona. Most likely the beginning of the 19th century. Unfortunately the maker (or assayer?) is unknown to me.
Best regards.

Re: Bolin

Qrt.S , thank you for such a detailed response! You are absolutely right - before the discussion Goldstein should be acquainted with the rules of Russian hallmarking and other primary sources. Otherwise, all discussion is blah-blah-blah :-) https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg https://www.925-100...

Re: Bolin

Konstantin Linke was the Moscow silversmith. Why we see the St. Petersburg hallmark? Is it fake?
