Dear Qrt.s! I was just courious, because today made the photos of the mark, and I wanted to know the makers, but I didn find it. So thank you for your answer. Best regards! Krisztián
Dear amena! A met this mark a lot of time in Hungary, so probably they worked a lot for export not only Austria-Hungary, but for Italy too. Or some other regions too. Best regards! Krisztián
Dear Amena! I know, that the original question is not about the maker, but maybe could be interesting too. It's Schwabisch Gmünd, Dominik Kött. Best regards! Krisztián
The maker is most likely Gustav Resch, worked in Wien, Mariahilferstrasse, in 1908. (Neuwirth, Wiener gold- und silberschmiede ind ihre punzen 1867-1922 L-Z, II/146.) Best regards! Krisztián
Are you sure, it's an A? Because the number is 3 next to the dog's head, and it seems to me P. But I can't identified the maker. P means Pest, and A mean Wien. Your Jug made in Austria-Hungary between 1872-1920, 800 fineness. (If Pest, maybe later, before 1937. https://www.925-1000.com/Faustria_02.h...
