Boy, this one is stumping me guys. It's not that I didn't try, it's just that I can barely make out the mark. What I see is a buffalo and an antelope. The 800 is easy. I have a charm bracelet with some old charms and cannot find the makers mark anywhere. It is of European make I'm sure, but I can't ID it using this site at all. I have a sterling serving spoon. The marking on it is JRW & S. I checked in the American Sterling marks area and could not find anything. This serving spoon dates back from about the 1880's from the San Francisco area in the USA. Thanks again in avance you guys are super. Happy holidays.

I was told that this belonged to a gentleman from San Francisco in the mid 1800s. The mark is a double headed griffin, or lion with a W in a circle in front of it. On top of that it says sterling.
