I thought it was that, but was unsure due to the slight difference in mark and the R at the end. What do you think that R is?

I was metal detecting a 1924 home in North East Ohio and found this lovely fork sleeping in the dirt! It is pretty plain but is a big honking piece of metal and has a B in it. Found a ring and need help with mark please.

I like to metal detect old homes and home sites in Ohio and I found a silver ring that is not marked sterling or .925 anywhere, but it is silver (took it to a jeweler) and looks to be 100% handmade. It was found in a yard of a house built in 1922 and the neighborhood has been there since the 1880's....
