Hallmark on a ladle

I have a very tatty ladle that has a hallmarkmark very worn but you can still see very well the number three in the upper part.
Does anyone can give me directions to recognize what hallmark it is?
thanks

Folding spoon

I have a double folding spoon marked The Metcalf co. New York.
I would like to know if it is a different mark of Campbell-Metcalf Co silver or if it is another company.
Thanks

If you rotate the picture 180 degrees you can imagine reading 800.
It could be Italian as Trev says.

Re: Need some help with silver marks

There was a good reason why I could not find this mark in my books of Italian silver marks.
I never imagined that my saucer could be Slovak, the seller sold it as Italian.
Thanks Bahner for the valuable information.

East Europe ? snuffbox

I bought this little snuffbox. There is no hallmark, but it is solid silver, gilded inside.
Can anyone guess the origin and age from the type of decoration?

Re: Please help with identifying hallmark, thanks

Hi kevalie
The picture you've posted, it leaves room for doubt.
The thickness of the base, the hallmark deliberately scratched and the white spot ....
If one day you decide to test the flask, can you let us know the result?
Thanks in advance

A very simple test with a magnet will be enough to discover whether it is oxidized iron or a different alloy.

The cartouche at the bottom: pi beta epsilon in Greek letters, recalls the crests of the MIT fraternities.
Just a guess

Most probably the writing is
LAVORAZIONE A MANO (hand made)
The maker mark is the type after 1971, but it's impossible to read.
