Help in identifying this piece.

Picked this piece up at a yard sale and so far have determined that it was made by Evans & Co in Birmingham 1909. Would like to confirm the markings as noted in the picture below. Also does anyone know what this piece is called. Thank You, Wanda http://www.kerrlake.com/chickens/silver/smallmarki...

Thank you so much for the below information and confirmation of it being silver plated. Wanda Hi, Trademark of William Adams Towle Co. and often seen on their foreign made goods. Towle Silversmiths acquired the Willam Adams line of silver plated items in 1979.... Towle began merchandising in 1980.&q...

Woven Basket

Recently acquired this silver (probably plated) woven basket and was wondering if anyone can confirm the maker. I believe it is William Adams however the only hallmarks I have found says Italy when this basket's hallmark says French. I have not found any other markings on the basket. Thanks for all ...
