Hi RV, I've not been able to find anything on the subject in any of my references. In my opinion, I think it is unlikely that your pieces are platinum plated (unless done at a later date) or that the sideways anchor stamp indicates anything, at least on antique pieces. Platinum did not come into use...

I'm not familiar with the production techniques of the Atkin Bros., but the vase looks heavy and thick walled which, in silverplate, is usually indicative of Britannia Metal.

Hi, It is the Alhambra pattern made by Whiting. Production on the pattern began around 1880. Lion is right, but the Whiting trademark appears, at least in the photo, to be chattered or slightly double stamped. Left to right; Canada, Sterling, and 1947. According to Tardy, since 1898, Canada follows the London date letter code. The number's below are a pattern, serial or order number. The important bit that is lacking is a maker's mark.
