Re: is this real Fabergé

Hi, Mylosilver. "Kokoshnik" and «faberge» is fake marks. Bad work. But if it looked as the original marks, anyway: These marks can't be together on one subject in 1900-1917. Finland during this period — territory of the Russian Empire, but with the big sovereignty and the own hallmarks. ...

Re: Silver Tongs, tea strainer spoons Maker?

Hi, All.

I agree. These are very bad photos. But "ИХ" can be Ivan Hlebnikov's factory. It did such subjects.
The sharp photo of marks is necessary. 1899-1908.

Hi, All.
Very bad work. The artist tried to draw the "Troyka" (sledge + three horses). But has drawn only two horses.))))
Show the second brand, please.

Hi piette - here is a typicall thumbpiece with diamonds. In Russia (Imperial) diamonds have not been something special or rare - they had enough of them. Hi all. Bill B, You are right. The oval mark on left shows: 875, the worker´s head with a hammer on his shoulder, the greek letter delta, townmark of Moscow, in use 1927-53. Since 1954 (07.01) "oval" with the worker´s head isn’t used. The mark on the right shows who made the case: "...

I think "trade mark the "fish"" - Szekman, Izrael 1895-1915. Warszawa.

Szkarlat, B. 2nd half, 19th C. Marks: Б.ШКАРЛАТЪ; also, БШ (both Cyrillic)

Re: Candlesticks

Hi, Postnikov. Hy, all. May I tell to correct? I see the maker´s mark as “ Б. Шкарлатъ ” (B. Szkarlat). “He was probably related to and the successor of Szmul Szkarlat, a noted Warsaw silversmith and maker of Judaica working in the second half of the 19th century.” (from Silvercollection, ...
