LOndon 1809 Dessert Spoons~No Makers Mark~No Erasures~

I thought I would submit these as some of you may find them interesting and it would be good to hear some thoughts as to why there are no makers marks on them, The makers marks have not been rubbed or removed.... Why would this have happened? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v439/vintagecollector/s...

Is This German Silver pre 1888?

I wonder if anyone can settle the marks on this spoon once and for all. It carries what has been suggested is a German 3 Tower hallmark with makers mark being that of B&G . Also been suggested it may be Danish and made by Bing & Grondahl , however I am more thinking it may be German. Beneath...

The number 84 can be made out, the other marks appear to be Persian/Middle Eastern. Difficult to get a good image of the marks so hopefully whats shown can be made out. I am looking...

Re: Castle-top cases.

I thought I would post some images of this truely wonderful Nathanil Mills example. Hallmarked from Birmingham in 1836, it retains its gilt to interior and around 98% of the exterior gilt finish remains intact. I believe the building or castle top is that of Newstead Abbey, however there appears to ...

Will anyone come up witha name for this pattern?

Surely it must have had a name even if only Whiting produced it?

Immaculate Antique Silver Spoon From 1773, Maker?

A wonderful survivor , hallmarked from 1773 with hallmarks all being in super clear condition. The makers mark of {T.T} , We are unsure of, Presently we think it may be Thomas Taylor I. Can anyone confirm or discount this? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v439/vintagecollector/Caithness/FishSlice/P...

Interesting Heavy Stilton Scoop

Somewhat of a heavy duty and because of this I thought I would display it here , It is hallmarked from London 1844 with makers mark being that of John Whiting. Measures 182mm in length and weighs a very healthy 64 grammes. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v439/vintagecollector/Caithness/FishSlice/P...
