Re: Unsure of these marks

There is another tiny mark by the handle, which I've blown up as much as I dare.

Unsure of these marks

A loving cup of sorts but the marks have me puzzled.
Four separate marks on the base. They look German, but unable to identify.
Grateful for any help

This is the mark of Beverley Jane Phillips who first registered in 1975. She is no longer registered.

Re: sideways anchor and unidentifiable birmingham mark

Birmingham 1891 - Elkington & co
I would suggest that the width or size of the item would dictate which way the anchor would be placed

Re: British hallmark with no city mark

Generally, this array of marks indicate a London hallmark with the date letter 'F' of 1801.
The maker (sponsor's) mark may more difficult to investigate as there are many many makers marks that start with 'I' .. if there is another spoon with a clearer mark then it may help.

Re: set of 6 spoons old unidentifiable date letter

London 1856 .. I would think it's the 'a' of that period

Maltese? Any info please

Please advise on the marks on these trays. I guess they're Maltese, but the '917'? or '91T'? is a puzzle. Current marks don't show these figures. A date would help also tremendously. Many thanks in advance John http://i45.tinypic.com/2enaha9.jpg (admin photo edit - images too large - link only - see...

D E or D L (Old English ) on caster c1749

On the base of a caster- London 1739. Main question DE or JG? If JG, would this be part of the lost registers? I have had good suggestions as to the possibilties for 'JG', the main one being, Grimwade #1348, John Gamon, largeworker, entered 15.6.1739 but no pellet. Grateful for any help Regards John...

The 'K' certainly looks like the German Hanau mark of David Kugelman.

London Maker

Any help please?
I realise that because of the date (London 1912) it cannot be Arthur Sibley - however the mark looks identical.
Suggestions?
