Re: Unknown Makers Mark

The letters, on their own, look like John Wilmot, however, his punch is of co-joined circles.
No help really.

According to J.P. Elven's ' The Heraldry of Crests' (Plate 68 / 14), your crest is of the Bouverie family.

Re: Is this King George 3rd London Silver?

I replied on the other forum ..
"I make the date 1833/4 - so William IV, with the makers mark of William Knight II"
Hopefully this is correct

This is the mark for Nigel Derek Meeks, along with the monarch's head commemorative mark for the 25th anniversary of our Queen's coronation.

I see it as 'E.J.H'. - which is the mark of EJ Houlston.

Re: silver bangle what does the 2 mean?

The Anchor would be the town mark for Birmingham. It's very possible that the '2' is a 'Z', Which, with the RPH mark, would be the date letter for 1974/5. RPH being the makers marks for RPH Jewellery Company Ltd.
But as Dognose stated, images would confirm it, or not.
Just a thought.

I guess no reply means no idea? I have to pass this item on & I thought it would be good if the makers were known. No problem either way.
Many thanks anyway

Help with mark please

Please help with makers mark. It's rather unclear here, but it's the best I can get.
I have presumed this is a Dutch Minerva head, with an assay mark of 'P' (unsure which assay area this is from), and an 'n' for 1872?
Thanks in advance
