Whiting Manufacturing Company, New York.

I'm afraid I don't know the pattern, but it looks early 20th century.

For a few years in the 1920s or 30s Jenson had a branch in London - hence the mark with the dot. However your piece is not Jenson - I've seen it on late 1960s jewellery, but I'm afraid I don't know the maker. Sorry!

The thistle was introduced circa 1759, so an earlier date is out. The date letter looks like a lower case "k" and seems closest to 1764. Duty marks, showing the reigning king's or queen's head, were only introduced in the later 18th century and continued up to the 1880s - even so, some typ...

"A" is almost certainly the suposed quality of the plating.

Could your umbrella mark in fact be a trumpet or bugle?

If so, it is probably James Dixon & Son of Sheffield. The company existed from the 19th century to at least the 1970s.

I suspect Aaron Hadfield of Sheffield, working mid 19th century, - although I can't make out the date letter of your piece.

A possibility for the main mark, then, could be Robert Harper. This would fit with the initials in the secondary marks?

I believe they were made by the Northern Goldsmiths Company of 4 Clayton Street West & 85 Westgate Road, Newcastle. Their shop is a distinctive landmark with a splendid gold clock outside:

Did Hemming expand to Montreal from New Jersey? The only reference to a Hemming Manufacturing company I can find on the internet is an abstract for an article in the Amerikanischer Schweizer-Kalender, vol. 36, 1916. Emil Hemming, from Uster in the Zürich Canton of Switzerland apparently set up the ...

Gerryl may well be right.

My reference for Hugh Green suggested a Liverpool manufacturer who assayed in Birminghan, Sheffield and London at around this date. But I can't confirm this.

However, there are certainly thimbles on the internet with an identical mark attributed to H Griffith & Sons!

I'm pretty sure these are 20th century. The use of celtic letters both for the maker and date letter seems unlikely before. The form of your goblets hardly looks 18th century. Jenson in New York was operating in the 1940s - and I've never heard they sold antique silver. I'm afraid I don't have any r...

I have certainly heard of Gustav Keller - in fact there are several items for sale by the company currently on internet. Apparently founded in 1857 along with a brother (frere). By the looks of what is on offer, solid work with some relatively soft art nouveau pieces dated in the 1890s. But as for m...

Looks like it was made by Heming & Co Ltd and assayed in London.

The letter "o" is the date letter, it looks like 1909, the lion means English sterling silver content (92.5% pure) and the last mark is the leopard's head for London.
