Thank you so much Myriam for all your help. I will check later to see if there is a boars head mark somewhere in the button, its certainly not on the front or back but as you say it may be round the edges.
Can anybody help me identifying the hallmark on this small silver button. The first mark is a sun with face in the middle, then 925 then the letter K There is also a makers initials of RF.
