Hi, Can anyone tell me who the maker of this apostle spoon is? The London town mark and lion passant are still recognisable, there is only part of the makers mark visible and as for the date mark that is either completely gone or was never struck. Hi, Not sure about this, I have enlarged the image of the hallmarks, is it definitely an n with a pellet or could it be a capital H? The J&WM mark is of the Edinburgh maker James & William Marshall. This mark has previously been seen along side that of Robert Smeaton and may possibly have been retailed by them.
