The center point has no writing inside. On one plate it is an oval and the other is perfectly round.

Dutch Silver Tea caddie - Multiple marks and re-marks

This is a very confusing little piece. At first I thought it had multiple pseudo marks but now I am confused. It has conflicting date marks. Help would be appreciated. Thanks! http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x39/AlexandraBourbon/PB160020.jpg http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x39/AlexandraBourbon...

The coat of arms is from my family. Bourbon Del Monte. Here is closer picture. The back oval was said to be a center point. It appears on both plates and is right in the center.

I have been looking at every possible mark at my disposal. Do you think that the mark could be a Bishop holding a crozier? It just looks to me, that it is a man holding a staff in one hand and raising his other, and looks to be wearing a tall hat. Maybe I am completely off. Any ideas?

There is always a fake somewhere. I am not too disappointed because it seemed a little strange from the get go. Thank you all so much for your help, I was going a little crazy.
