Re: Help with marks

The first of the marks does not look good, it may be a "J" ???. The second brand belongs to the silversmiths "Silva & Martins" from Porto, registered in 1915 and disappeared in 1936.

FORGIVE THE LANGUAGE Dear emaliek, It is a Spanish piece exactly from the city of Cádiz. This city is represented by the figure of Hercules between two lions. The silversmith is going to be A. Díaz (if with Z at present) of which I do not know his trajectory and the other brand is very confused, it ...

Hello Marta, on the one hand we cannot see the image of the piece and we would all like to see it. On the other hand, I am sending you the most similar brand I have found, it would be nice if you can tell me if the F appears in the brand of your piece, hopefully yes. Re: Help identifying Hallmark on t motorcycle HARLEY

Thanks Funkel, agree the Spanish pentagram and a bit failed which gives it an odd "hexagram" in appearance. Peter.

As a result of a previous marriage, he h...

It is simply a 5-pointed star and it has nothing to do with the Star of David, only that it looks a lot like it.

Re: Help identifying Hallmark on t motorcycle HARLEY

Without a doubt it is Spanish. The star corresponds to the quality of silver of 916 thousandths (therefore it is not silver but sterling silver).
