Help solve 18 year old mystery for serving platter

I have a metal serving platter I bought about 18 years ago in a thrift shop in the Phoenix area. It appears to have SW Spanish influence but have found nothing to determine the maker. The Mark is H. K. with the word "TIN" underneath the H.K. and the number 116 under the word"TIN"...
