The marks on the bottom of the piece do not photograph at all. They are simple marks - pair of crossed keys and a unicorn head - not next to one another (separate) and not framed in any shape. Just that - simple.
So far, this item has stumped not only this forum, but another as well. Maybe this will help - I have since discovered that the engraving on the lid is more than likely a coat of arms or family crest. Hope this helps spurr some response.
