Unknown Maker, Sterling Enamel Scandinavian Brooch

Hi there, Any ideas who "HP." might be? Since the brooch is marked 925S, it's probably Norwegian or Danish, but I haven't seen this maker before. Thanks! http://i43.tinypic.com/2jd4cg1.gif http://i43.tinypic.com/1zgwcd3.gif http://i43.tinypic.com/15549li.gif

It's a sterling silver bracelet by the Danish maker Hans Hansen. Check out the Danish makers under the link 'World Marks' to compare the signature - the company opened in 1930, and changed their stamp ca. 1950.

Norwegian Sterling Enamel Scenic Bracelet - Maker? Age?

The slide clasp is marked 925S and a mark in a box that I can't quite make out (I originally thought it might be the cursive capital "N" of Norne, but I don't think so seeing it up close). Any ideas? Thanks!

935 silver and enamel brooch signed "Depose" and &

I'm wondering if anybody recognizes the maker's mark "JD" (appears within a mark that looks like a ring); the brooch is also marked "935" and "depose," so I gather it's French or German? Thanks for any ideas! http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc100/briar-rose-vintage/d...

The word "geschutzt" is German and means patented, if that helps.

I couldn't quite make out the maker's mark, either - any chance of a close-up? The work seems to be based on earlier pieces from Iona, for example those by Alexander Ritchie (there's a pretty extensive informational website, just google his name).

Scandinavian Sterling Modernist Ring, Maker "OD"

I'm hoping to find out who the maker is on this sterling modernist ring; I found one "OD" listed as a Danish maker active in Copenhagen until 1937, but I thought the design of this piece would be likely a bit later than that? Thanks for any ideas! http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc100/b...

Hi there, I don't have any information about the maker's mark, but the bracelet is an old Campfire Girls piece. The mark has had me stymied for a while now.

It looks like it's marked R.A. That would be for Robert Allison, a silversmith who worked with and took his inspiration from Alexander Ritchie, of Iona, Scotland.

How can you tell? The full assay marks are not visible in the picture. I believe the "W" is from the maker's mark, not the year.

Off the top of my head, I also recall that Bernard Instone also typically produced sterling silver pieces that were not assayed. Sometimes, you're lucky even to get his initials on pieces.
