The mark looks like MR-01, but it's so tiny it's hard to tell for sure.
We think the piece was purchased in the late 70's or early 80's. The owner has passed away and her son is friend of ours looking for more information. Regards,

The mark is very difficult to read. It is either MR-01 or MP-01 or something else. It isn't marked MATL anywhere, but sure looks like her style.
