Thanks, The funny thing is that Acanthus pattern has a slightly different end which is scored... perhaps a different die was used..

Georg Jensen Pattern

I have some Georg Jensen in my collection and the hallmark is post war, but for the life of me I have failed to find the pattern.. it does look like acanthus, but it isn't.. please advise

silver dish with unkown 916 mark

i have a really nice silver dish, and it had a silver mark of 916, and a makers device with letters T A beneath.

Possible english provincial mark ?

I have spotted three marks on a piece of silver, but I can't figure out what they are,, any ideas anyone?

Hi Tom, The ship in the centre is a close match to an iona (scotland) viking mottif, and a greek ship has a forward bow for ramming.. secondly the lower left man with helmet is similar to a conical viking helmet rather than a greek helmet which would have fur ridge at the top and side face armour......

Help! I have a cigarette box with an unknown hallmark!

I have a small silver (cigarette) box with a 'Viking' type pattern on the lid. The hallmarks are three letters which maybe (BNP) a ship type hallmark, and number 800. I was thinking it was German, but then I thought it could be eastern european... Any help in the country, maker and what the box mean...
