I have managed to photo the watch chain. Hopefully by clicking on image you can zoom as detail is extremely small. Would be grateful if date could be confirmed and maker as you can see it is JS* I can see makers with J*S but not as above Any ideas. Also want to confirm that my dating of Watch itself...

Dear Admin The watch itself was badly damaged whilst in my case 14 years ago. I have to confess that a few months back I threw it away but I didremember the Arabic letters. kerangoumar Many thanks for your assistance - it was a gem of a lead as I have now established that this is the Tughra (Coat of arms) of the Sultan of the Otterman Empire. See below link to Wikipedia. Just want to check that my dating of 1854 is correct as this would have been during the second year...
