Re: Anti-tarnish chemical

I am not looking to reline my silver chest. I simply want to spray the lining I have. Whatever the liner of a silver chest has on it seems to last for years while the life of the strips is only 6 months.

Anti-tarnish chemical

I have a silver chest in which the silver tarnishes. I believe it needs the cloth liner impregnated with the chemical that prevents tarnishing. Can anyone please tell me what to use and where to get it.

TOWLE SILVERPLATE

I have been looking at a Towle silverplated tea set that is supposed to be 40 to 50 years old. What kind of metal do you think the silver plating is over. Could it be copper or brass or maybe even steel.

Hagerty silver polish

I have looked at Hagerty silver polish. It comes in foam, dip and spray as well as foam and wash polish. I am thinking that the foam that you rub on and wash off is the best. Will someone please advise me.
