this ring is of 900 silver. On the left side of the mouth there is a mark. My question: Is this a hallmark (French?), designers' mark or what? Thank you!

I have these earrings with hallmark HANDARBEIT 835, plus unknown mark, something like Kn, with a dot under K. I learned from this site it's German post 1886 ...
