This is what I've found out so far.... the mark BC over 1861 is the assayer's mark of Victor Savinkov (BC is cyrillic for VS), Moskow, 1855-1888. Maker's mark D.A.I. is unknown to Postnikova-Loseva book Can anyone help to solve this mystery? ...
