I am struck by the awkwardness of the spout and its insertion into the body. Looks too big. The authentic Faberge at Sotheby's is immediately several magnitudes more felicitous.

As stated, Ranelagh's crest is the conventional representation with the point of the arrow downward. This crest has the arrow in fessewise, which is highly unusual, perhaps outright odd - I don't have access to any of my books at the moment but I can't recall seeing one positioned like that.
