I don´t think that it is Italian, because i miss the star and the man...
Hello, with the "Hildesheimer Rose" design it looks like to be german origin. but the 800 alone (without halfmoon and crown) you can not be sure that it is really silver.

Hi, a look into the "Jan Divis" says, that the "N" was used for items from Nürnberg (Germany) between 1700-1750. About the flying duck is nothing to find, but it is maybe the markers mark. Greetings from Germany 8facher
