Acquired these two matching pieces a few years ago. Would like to know what YOU think they are used for, and where they come from. It appears to me the first mark is the Tughra marked used in the Ottoman Empire (Turkey pre-1928). Sorry I can't help with the other marks, but I believe you now have a starting point. rojo531
An 830 silver retractable ballpoint pen acquired in Norway in the early 70's. Does anyone recognize this mark? Thank you in advance. http://www3.filehost.to/files/2007-04-21_03/223940_penhallmark.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http://www3.filehost.to/files/2007-04-21_03/223733_pe...

I have a silver box (tested positive for silver) that I believe comes from Iran. The only mark anywhere is the Lion holding a curved sword. Does anyone recognize this mark? http://www3.filehost.to/files/2007-03-17_03/205454_Box1.JPG http://www3.filehost.to/files/2007-03-17_03/205907_Box3.JPG
