Greetings, Unfortunately I presently do not have the capability to post a pic. The lion is the former that you mentioned in your email so it must be English. I have the complete set- the tea/coffee set w/tray, strainers w/bone handles, tea cookie trays, small sandwich trays, egg cups, demitasse spoo...

I'm new at this and I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer- that's quite obvious. Folks like myself are dependent upon nice folks like you to answer 'stupid' questions. I'm a stupid person so I always have a lot of stupid questions! I'm trying... thanks!

Thank you very much! Since this is hollowware it has to be from the last period you mentioned, right? Also, since it doesn't indicate if it's sterling or silver plate how can I determine which one it is? I'm a newbie and know just enough to be dangerous!

Possible celtic silver?

I inherited an entire silver set and need help identifying it. The mark is as follows: RP then an uncrowned standing lion, a "V" shaped crest and then what looks like either a sideways "Y" or "S" script. The marks are very small and it's difficult to tell what the inset...

Help identify tea set pattern

I have a large tea/coffee set marked 'eagle' W m Rogers 'star' and each piece is numbered beginning with 1000. The pieces are multi-sided. I've read a lot of the postings and have visited many websites trying to identify the pattern. I'm confused because there is conflicting info about the dates the...
