Wow!! I am so impressed with you knowledge. I can't thank you enough for taking the time to educate me on the correct positioning of these panels. It's great to have a forum where we can learn from experts!! Thanks again ! Marty
Hi JL, Thanks for your quick response. I was wondering how the panels should be presented - what order. The pictures make little sense to me now. You are probably right about the classic Italian theme, although in looking through the marks they don't correspond to any Italian marks. The closest I co...
Hi, I hope this time I am able to include the picture of Diana the Huntress. I am focusing on the hallmark - a backwards e connected to a V. Thanks in advance for any assistance, Marty http://images7.pictiger.com/thumbs/7b/5d32c9ff3fd45e49d0b5178cade85a7b.th.jpg http://images7.pictiger.com/thumbs/0e...
Thanks so much for the article describing Henryk Winograd's life and works. It's a pleasure knowing that there are other people who take the time to share their knowledge. Have a great day! Marty .
Hi, I checked your site first but couldn't find my mark. I have a pair of gold cufflinks. They are marked with a crown, underneath that is letters that are interlocking, facing backwards - either C's or G's, followed by 14K. Hope you can help! Thanks, Marty http://server5.pictiger.com/img/1245546/pi...
Thanks for your quick reply. You were right. I checked and confirmed that MM34 was Los Ballesteros. What confuses me is just the script B without the circle surrounding the B with Los Ballesteros written around the B. thanks for taking the time to help me. Have a great day! Marty
Hi, I would appreciate your assistance in identifying this maker's mark. I am not sure if it is a script B or script TB. I know it was made in Taxco, 970, and I think it is style MM 34. Thanks for looking and for any help. Marty http://images7.pictiger.com/thumbs/0d/b9464b36823321b73d4327f566df660d....
Thanks so much for your prompt and accurate response to my question. It's a pleasure to know that there are people out there who take the time to educate us. Thanks, Marty .
I have this very heavy Sterling Pendant. I think it might be Victorian. The marks on the bottom of the Pendant are HW and 999. I would appreciate anyone identifying the artist and era if possible. Silver Cuff Bracelet with 4 "Greek coin stampings?". One mark says 800 and the other mark looks like a triangle with one long side and there is also a line that intersects the middle from the bottom to the top of the triangle. http://images7.pictiger.com/thumbs/a7/d98096ec95bc974d44ecf6323...
Thanks for your quick response. I double checked the mark hoping it was from Silver Cloud. Unfortunately the mark doesn't match theirs. I appreciate your response. Marty .
I am trying to indentify the maker and age if possible of this bracelet. The bracelet is stamped 925, 18K with a large oval and 2 smaller ovals interconnected on one side and a larger oval on the other side. http://server6.pictiger.com/img/14052/other/martysbraceletmark-1--.php" onclick="window.open...
