Looks like I have an unusual case here. I have spent many hours researching silverware and am learning a lot. Must have been profitable as there was no shortage of competitors and manufacturers back in the day.

sorry phil I dont know what a hotlink is, an image host,embed my images, or pretty much any of the terminology you used.
I checked faq's and it says I cant post pics without moderators permission. If I click on insert image, this comes up.![Image]()
No idea what that means but it wont take me to my photos.

Maker information
Have a serving spoon. Marked star mfg co on stem. It is in the “olive” pattern. Can’t find any information about this maker. Been through a fire so plating is gone.
Anybody heard of this maker. Found in Knox NY.
