It looks like this signature had something else after it. It doesn't look exactly like the SH signatures in the list. The letters look too fat for Solomon Hougham. Is something missing? Do you think this is silverplate? It doesn't seem to have had much use so nothing is showing through. Or does that account for its golden color?

Could you identify this mark to a place and a time? The spoon is 8 3/4 inches long and seems to be covered with a gold wash. Thank you. Lou123
