The pin mechanics are that of an early pin. I do not think that is it as late as 1940s.

Bar pins were popular between 1900-1915

Also the style of the hatpin is such that later in the 1800's is much more fitting. It looks like turn of the century to me.

The general rule of thumb is, if the pin extends beyond the body its old. I say turn of the century (1900-1910).

But to tell you the truth I am stumped. I cannot offer you any help as to the hallmarks, but it looks very Scandinavian which you likely already know - it is also very pretty.

I have these new (to me) earring and I cannot ID the hallmarks: a "p" or an "e" and a insect of some sort. After visiting here I think I may be lucky enough to find out.
