Re: P paddle Q

Pierre Pierre Queillé !? Jamais entendu. The last Queillé was Emile Pierre Q. 1864-1955.
I suppose Eugène Francois Q. actif 1847-1880 or Elvire Pierre Francois Q. actif 1874-1895 who used the same punch.
Let's wait for JayT who has perhaps an other solution.

Who of the many silversmiths of the Queillé family is it? Is the bigorne of any help? At first I thought one paddle was upside d...

Re: Coffee spoon StP 1844

Thanks Kurt. Körning/Kernig is PL 1614 and there dated 1825-1840 that's why I excluded him. If PL is wrong and he worked till 1850 it will probably be him.

Coffee spoon StP 1844

This not very important coffee spoon assayed by Tverskoy shows a maker's mark F.K in a rectangle.
This mark does not fit PL 1613-1616. Who is it?

Re: J.H. Werner tea spoon date

The pattern is Wilkens model no. 126 which I date end of 19th century. Concerning the coat of arms try it in a heraldic forum.

Hi Mart, for me it is not easy to read the old German alphabet because i didn't learn it at school. But my grandmother wrote some letters to me. So I'll try it again: " Louis Peltzer, Modelleur(?) 2., Frau Julie Korot.ow, geb(orene). Iwankowa (?) NB. (=Nota Bene) laut Trauschein (=confirmation ...

Re: Friedrich Rückert. Help: text translation, archive search.

Hi Mart,
Transscription: "Rückert, Friedrich Moritz deutscher Reichsangehöriger evang.-luther. mit Bjelow, Eugenie Tochter des Landmanns Kalistrat Bjelow griech-russ" (russ.orthodox!?)
Where did you find the church book entries?

Carl Gottlieb Boehnhardt worked in the first half of 19th century. I think the letter Z stands for 1841.
