9,4,7 and 40 are clearly seen, so my assumption (India) was wrong. The symbol after 9, 4 and 7 could indicate 90, 40 and 70 grams of pure silver used for electroplating. Hi, Just guessing. The number (upside down) is reminiscent of Devanagari used in India subcontinent. Number 19. Different numbers on cutlery indicate number of grams of pure silver used for electroplating one set of spoons, forks etc. It would be interesting to see what other numbers look like. Reg...

Hey, I've tried to search these through the internet with no luck. I got this pretty big set of cutlery, but I've had no luck finding this exact set or the marks anywhere. They all have "made in uk" stamps next to this logo shown in the second picture, and another logo shown in third pictu...
