Thank you Phil and Trev! I cleaned it up a bit more and I think it might be an "n" ?

I forgot to mention that is has the Howell button. I don't know if this helps date it too?

This is another Jonathan Howell that I am having trouble reading https://up.picr.de/38749719uw.png You can see the JH and the lion but the leopard city mark and date mark are problematic. I think the date mark is an "n" and if this is a London cane then it might be for 1908 or 1928?? I rea...

Thanks Trev! That makes more sense. Do you think the date Is correct based on the W in the photo. Another option was 1946 but that W looks "flattened" along the top.

Need to be sure about hallmarks

I would like to know if my interpretation of marks on the silver cap on an old walking cane are correct. As I see it the symbols from left to right are TH, Anchor, Lion, and W. I have translated these as Thomas Hayes, Birmingham, .925 England, and 1921. Is this correct? Unfortunately this is the bes...
