Nasal Insufflator in Shagreen Silver Case Hallmark Identification

I've come back seeking further assistance in another medical device requiring hallmark identification. I believe this item to be 18th-century; a shagreen and silver case containing a silver-topped...

Re: 18th-century? Silver Syringe Hallmark Identification

The help has been wonderful so far.

There is a 3rd hallmark that looks like an A, partially cut off at the bottom. Any thoughts on that one?

Re: 18th-century? Silver Syringe Hallmark Identification

I've read this publication before, great reference material. Any other thoughts on the CA hallmark, the ZII hallmark, and the 3rd which looks somewhat cut off? Could the syringe have been made late 18th century, but bought early 19th century and subsequently stamped CA? And the ZII stamp, could this...

Re: 18th-century? Silver Syringe Hallmark Identification

I am confident it is indeed an enema or urethral syringe - my friend has a similar syringe shown below, complete with its nozzles. Curious though, his syringe has no hallmarks. https://i.postimg.cc/XvBjgzYF/Screenshot-20210702-153838-Instagram.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/j2tRtqQQ/Screenshot-20210702-15...

18th-century? Silver Syringe Hallmark Identification

Hello everyone, I am new to this group in hopes of receiving some help in identifying these silver hallmarks found on this suspected 18th-century syringe. I would like to know its origin, its maker, and the years in which it was made. It was obtained from a German collector, but it is unknown if it ...
