Yes, all we can read is VR (Victoria Regina) and 1887 (Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria, 20 June 1887). The rest is unknown.

Hello, I know UK silver ingot pendants, but what about this one? No silver mark, so why is gold plated? Have you ever met pendants like this? Thanks for any info.

I saw Victor Boivin mark before posting - the same shape, with two stars, etc., but letters VB, not JB. Now I know, it is father and son. Thanks to you.

Yes, not easy to resolve this. A lozenge shaped mark with ALFE NIDE gives date pre-1862. But the shape of maker mark should be oval. In my photo has definitely a lozegne shape. There is also a sentence "Attention! Sometimes on the early pieces the third mark is absent (e.g., on pieces issued in...
