Re: French maker 2

I saw Victor Boivin mark before posting - the same shape, with two stars, etc., but letters VB, not JB. Now I know, it is father and son. Thanks to you.
Trev. you are great.

Re: Christofle

Yes, not easy to resolve this. A lozenge shaped mark with ALFE NIDE gives date pre-1862. But the shape of maker mark should be oval. In my photo has definitely a lozegne shape. There is also a sentence "Attention! Sometimes on the early pieces the third mark is absent (e.g., on pieces issued in...

Ok, I found something. It can be Gruhier, Paris, letters J and G.
If it is a piece of gruyere cheese between the letters :-)

Tea container?

Hello, Can you tell me something about that container? For tea maybe? Has 11,5 cm height. With removable lid. And what maker is this? The mark is not clear for me. Thank you. https://i.postimg.cc/yg9wgqzz/PIC-0563.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/Cng9bvFn/PIC-0578.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/ctB2hQH9/PIC-0583....

Re: Unknown maker

Essexboy Fisher, thank you for reply. I thought it would be easier with marks :(
The item is 'nurses belt', nothing special, but I would like to know more about things I have.
Below I attach a picture. Maybe it will help, as you say.

Re: Napkin ring

Thank you JayT. That page is very helpful. I followed your advice and I think there are A and T letters and the bee beetwen them. So it could be Sharp Jules Alfred, 1881-1920. What you think? I had to upload photos again. with Minerva this time https://i.postimg.cc/f3JYqDZw/PIC-0548.jpg https://i.po...

Hello,
I have a French spoon with unreconized maker mark.
RD? Looks like a gearwheel at the bottom of the mark.
