Part 6 of the unknown silver mark. This is the only mark on a pocket watch dating between 1760-1780. Probably French.

Hi Jay, Thank you for the information. The pocket watch is, based on its typology, a late 18th century watch. Probably there is some reason we will never know, why there is a 1797 en early 1800's mark on the watch. There is e small mark on it, I hope the picture is ok? https://image.ibb.co/by9gzb/20...
