Also, take a look at this beautiful beaker that was sold in UK. Made same year (1745). Compare the work of it to mine beaker. How do you explain CG (Kuzma Grigorjev) initials in Latin ? Not even KG, but C for Cuzma. Here is an example of CG assayer mark. This beaker was made the same year as mine (1745). CG (Kuzma Grigorjev) assayer mark is quite common. I have seen it on a few items that were made in this period of time. I have no explanation of why it is CG, not KG. Probably we will never know. Do you think that alderman mark is is mandatory? I can see many examples where there are only 3 marks: City mark, assay mark, and maker.
