Can anyone identify these makers marks at all? The two decanters come from an art deco tantalus I have. It looks like there's at least one initial B, possibly a Y, and on one of them it looks like there could be two initial B's.

Here's a close up of the arms as requested. It is indeed those of Dolgorukov and they were an ancient Princely family. Catherine Dolgorukova was the Mistress of Alexander II.

I've seen these makers initials of HL on a few things I have but I've yet to find out the maker. I believe he was German as it was detailed on a description of a lot that was bought at auction (but the description has been long since lost) so any help identifying would be greatly appreciated ...

You're right, they do look Austrian and Vogel did import from there, especially from George Adam Scheid. I'll have to get better images of the marks but these marks are as small as the pesky French ones!!

I'm hoping someone can help with the maker and maybe even the artist for this silver and enamel box that was imported by PH Vogel. The marks are extremely small and even with the magnifier on iPone they'r really difficult to get a good shot of.

oh, and regarding arrow two in your picture, this is one of the pins that holds the clock face in place to the body. The silversmith, when he removed the clock face to re gild the body, actually glued them back in place rather than soldering them as they previously had been done.
